“We are ashamed, we showed a ridiculous image of the Section, from the beginning… to the end (nervous laughter), well the end too so there is not much to add. There are no other words that can come out of our mouths tonight.
I'm not on the ground. I think the news is going badly but we need to be a little lucid. It's 23-3, we have nothing to gain, apart from maybe blowing a guy… or giving them the offensive bonus and that's what we did. (Ironic) So well done… well done!
We were ridiculous in terms of rugby, from the head to the end. So it’s a huge slap in the face: we’re never able to put them in difficulty. When we go to them, a penalty against us on a scrum 5 meters from their line, it's the only time when we can be worrying. We're never dangerous, we don't do three rucks in a row. We will have to get to work very quickly and things will change, otherwise it will be complicated.”

“I have a feeling of shame. We watched them play, clearly. None of us, I think, had the feeling that we could win the match, collectively or individually, each in their own mind. It was really very complicated… In the heat of the moment it's hard to explain: There was a lack of commitment, against a team that we knew was very dense. She relies on her big carriers, her big scratchers, with a good defense of carried balls. So if we weren't good at that, we knew we were going to lose this match.
We knew everything but we didn't do it. I think it's especially mentally, individually, where you have to ask yourself a lot of questions, listen to yourself, do your job, have a group of leaders and a few little soldiers alongside. And work collectively, clearly”.

“I hope, secretly I hope (to have shown the worst face of the Paloise Section, Editor’s note). I wasn't expecting that at all, which explains the disappointment of the day. I have the feeling of having been humiliated, I am part of a team, in my eyes humiliated, at least in two sectors: the scrum and the ground game. There was a strong team which won with the offensive bonus thanks to our ridiculous side. And there was a weak team in the scrum, in the ground game. So congratulations to the strong team.
I have difficulty explaining it. We must not work well enough on our support-carrier connection on the ground game. And then it is true that facing dense Top 14 players, today at D.10, we are not at the level on the ground game. You need to take note of the assessment and work on it. The only thing I can explain this evening is the fairness of the evaluation in the face of a dense and very serious team in this sector. And you are humiliated.”
