Rik De Mil wants to confirm the renewal started with Charleroi. This will notably involve some adjustments to the core during the transfer window.

This evening, Charleroi plays its first pre-season friendly with a trip to Mons. The opportunity for Rik De Mil to test several young people against a great Mons team, promoted to D1 ACFF.

The Zebras coach took stock of the situation, particularly with regard to the first reinforcements of the transfer window. For example, he is delighted with the arrival of Théo Defourny between the poles.

“We can see directly that Théo has a lot of experience. He has taken the other goalkeepers under his wing and shows that he is a leader. He is not someone who will shout all the time, he is calm, but everything he says is correct,” declared De Mil, in comments relayed by -.

A preparation to allow De Mil to make its mark in Charleroi

Charleroi also welcomed Mordecai Nzita (Beerschot) and Noam Mayoka-Tika (Marseille): “Concerning Mardo, he still needs a little time to adapt physically, but he is working well. As for Noam, he comes from Marseille, but he is a real Carolo and he already feels at home”.

But Sporting will not stop there: “With the management, we know that we still need some players, especially in central defense, but we also do not know what can still happen depending on departures and opportunities. The management worked a lot during the holidays.”
