Recently appointed sports director, Frédéric Arpinon has set about setting up a reinforced recruitment unit in order to maximize the efficiency of this key department. Thus, Eric Atta returns to the club. Director of recruitment for the training center from 2018 to 2023, also having worked for Stade Rennais, as post-training manager and recruiter for the professional team in particular, the 50-year-old will now occupy the position of head of the recruitment unit for the Metz professional group.
At the same time, another face accustomed to attending the training center is promoted within the organization chart of the professional group. At the club for ten years, as a pre-training educator, recruitment coordinator and then head of recruitment for the training center, Gaetan Lenert becomes a recruiter for the professional team of FC Metz. He will also be responsible for establishing regular contact with loaned players in order to ensure their proper development and fulfillment.
Accustomed to working hand in hand in recent years within the training center, Eric Atta and Gaëtan Lenert will now form a trio with Cyril Serredszumformer Garnet player and recruiter on the banks of the Moselle since 2020. Furthermore, a fourth person should complete the recruitment unit soon with a role focused on video analysis and data.
