Undisputed leader of the championship, Paris Saint-Germain is however struggling in the Champions League where it is virtually eliminated with four points collected in just four days. However, he could very soon count on strong reinforcements like Lucas Hernandez. L'Equipe tells us this evening that the French international has returned to team training more than six months after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee against Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final first leg of the Champions League.
If he has not taken part in all the exercises, his return to competition is becoming clearer and he could even play a few minutes before Christmas even if the staff will not take any risks.
Hernandez resumed collective training, Ramos late!
Another long-term injured: Gonçalo Ramos. Injured in the ankle during the first day of the championship against Le Havre on August 16, the Portuguese could return to collective training this Wednesday with the internationals returning from selection. But in any case, pessimism is now in order regarding his presence for last week's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich, according to Le Parisien. A few weeks ago, PSG's desire was to see him return for this weekend's match against Toulouse.
His comeback is now expected during the month of December where the three-time reigning French champion will challenge Auxerre and Lyon in the championship, Salzburg in the Champions League and a 32nd final of the Coupe de France.
