Running is on the rise in Deux-Sèvres. While the 2024 season is not yet over, runners can already look forward to next year. And, with 63 events appearing on the calendar recently communicated by the Departmental Running Commission, there will be something for everyone in the department. The departmental cross-country races, which will take place on Sunday January 12 in Échiré, will open a season which will end, as usual, with the Corrida de Magné, Sunday December 28.
The most popular event of the year, the Coulée Verte will be held on Sunday October 19. Note some changes, such as the Chapel Strides which traditionally took place on Ascension Thursday, and brought forward to Sunday March 2.
