The 28th edition of the Africa Women’s League (AWBL) will take place at the Marius Ndiaye stadium organized by ASC Ville de Dakar from December 6 to 15, 2024. In addition, this field is being renovated in order to be able to host this competition continental in optimal conditions.

LED projectors have been installed, the locker rooms have been completely renovated and equipped with air conditioning. According to the ASC Ville de Dakar, the new hoops are ordered in . The flooring was removed and reinstalled. The work is financed by Dakar town hall for an amount of 25 million. But it should be noted that the renovation of Marius Ndiaye was part of the Ministry of Sports’ projects since 2021.

After a 5th place in 2022 in Maputo, Mozambique, the reigning champions of Senegal will have the sole and main objective of winning this prestigious trophy, highly sought after by the various clubs. It should be remembered that the Alexandria Sport Club in Egypt won the last two editions in Mozambique (2022) and Egypt (2023).
