Remember, in April 2024, Charles Leclerc announced the marketing of its new ice creams. The Scuderia driver had in fact presented his new brand, “LEC” (in reference to his last name, obviously), with products only available until then in Italy. Good news for French fans of the Ferrari driver (and ice cream!): these will now be available in France this summer!

The Monegasque doesn’t hide it: ever since he was little, ice cream has been his little indulgence! However, frozen treats are not necessarily the best friends of high-level athletes, due to their high sugar content. The Monegasque therefore decided to create his own brand of ice cream, accessible to all athletes, professionals… or not!

“LEC” ready for summer in France

The concept was born from an original idea between the six-time Grand Prix winner and the founders of the GROM ice cream brand, Federico Grom and Guido Martinetti. Together, they embarked on the adventure and imagined a unique ice cream. From tests to recipes, LEC was born, which has the common goal of offering all the pleasure that ice cream can give us without feeling guilty. His particuliarity ? It comes down to one number: 399! This is the maximum calorie content you will find in a 460 ml LEC jar. The desire of the brand? An ice cream without compromise between taste and lightness, so you can give in to temptation more often.

“I’m glad ice cream is no longer a guilty pleasure”, explained Charles Leclerc. As the Formula 1 mid-season approaches, the LEC team has just announced the release of their ice creams in France starting this summer. Its ice creams will be sold in all Monoprix stores for the sum of €4.99. So why resist…? Let yourself be tempted by choosing from 5 flavors (vanilla, salted caramel, chocolate, pistachio, peanuts and caramel, etc.)!
