The Hungarian Football Federation announced on Monday that its striker Barnabas Varga underwent successful surgery on the injury he suffered against Scotland on Sunday evening in Stuttgart in the third day of Group A of Euro 2024.

“According to the facility’s doctors specializing in facial injuries, the operation took place without complications, so the Ferencvaros striker will be able to leave the hospital on Wednesday,” the Hungarian federation announced yesterday.
