Despite the cold spell hitting Lyon, OL supporters met on Saturday evening at the GOLTC. Nearly 2,100 spectators attended the derby, enough to give Vincent Ponsot some regrets.
The enthusiasm is obviously lower than that of boys, but a derby remains a derby, even among women. And it's not the cold that has affected the Lyon area in recent days that has put off OL supporters. “We’re taking our time for next season”
To those who regretted not seeing the derby played at Parc OL, some players preferred to feel the push of the supporters in a smaller venue. However, there is also the frustration of not having been able to accommodate more spectators, because as Vincent argued Ponsot at the microphone of Canal Plus, “on a had to refuse requests”.
