The 26th edition of the African Women’s Handball Cup of Nations will take place from November 27 to December 7, 2024 in Kinshasa, DR Congo.
Last month, the Lionesses of Senegal have already played two friendly matches with Algeria, winning twice during their training in Algiers. Yacine Messaoudi’s girls are with Congo, Egypt, Algeria, Cape Verde and Kenya in Group A.
The quarter-finals will take place on December 4, 2024 between the eight qualified teams. However, the four semi-finalists will directly qualify for the next Women’s World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by Germany and the Netherlands from November 27 to December 14, 2025. Thirty-two countries will participate in this event.
