In his first fight since March 2023, American MMA star Jon Jones retained his UFC heavyweight championship belt by knocking out his compatriot Stipe Miocic on Saturday in New York. Aged 37, Jones thus won his 28th victory, for only one defeat, due to a disqualification, reinforcing his legend.

Former light heavyweight champion moved up to heavyweight, Jon Jones largely dominated the fight, setting the tempo with his kicks, before knocking out Miocic in the 3rd round.
