Third home victory in a row for the Ajoulots who beat Ambri 4-2 on Saturday evening. This excellent performance is a positive signal from Porrentruy. For once, the Jurassiens played a full match for 60 minutes and the box-play held up in key moments. This success was achieved collectively, but two men still lifted the whole group to the top: Philip-Michael Devos and Jerry Turkulainen.
This third victory in a row at home for the Ajoulots now allows them to have 15 points in 20 matches. Not enough to put them back in the rankings, but enough to give them morale. Because their performance was very good and above all very consistent against Ambri.
The Bienne suffered a small snub on their ice by losing 0-1 against Langnau who were going through a bad patch recently, what’s more. But the Tigers’ discipline throughout much of the match and a difficult start to the match from the evening’s hosts made the difference in the end.
