But the score finally moved in the second half, thanks to a superb collective action which ended with a superb cross from Nuno Mendes on the head of Leao (1-0, 59th). After a handball in the area afterwards, Ronaldo could easily deceive Bulka from the penalty spot for his 134th goal in the selection (2-0, 72nd), before a cannon shot from Fernandes, from afar (3-0, 80th), then a nice goal from Neto (4-0, 83rd). And for the icing on the cake, CR7 scored twice with a magnificent return to the far post (5-0, 88th). Indeed, Serbia snatched the draw on the lawn of Switzerland (1-1) – who thought they had won the victory after scoring late – and will therefore have a chance of qualifying for the final phase if they win against Denmark on the last day. On the other hand, Switzerland, which is having a catastrophic campaign, will have to hope for a big defeat by Serbia to avoid finishing in League B.
