The images of joy of the Vandoeuvre volleyball players are still in everyone’s minds, after the historical qualification this week in the round of 16 of the CEV Cup. For the next round of the competition, the VNVB must therefore travel on November 27 at 6 p.m., to face Nova KBM Branik, in Maribor, Slovenia. An expensive trip that the club’s finances can no longer absorb, despite the immense performances of André Sa’s players.

“The harsh reality imposes itself on us: the VNVB does not have the financial means necessary to continue this European adventure. We are facing an impasse where, without help, we will be forced to give up our next trip“, confides the club this Friday in a press release. “This is why we are asking you today, urgently and sincerely, so that we can meet and consider solutions together. This accomplishment is also yours, and we sincerely hope that, hand in hand, we can find a way to extend this dream“, he adds.
