The Fête des Chocards 2024 is on track. The co-organizers, the municipality and the services worked for several weeks to establish the program for this highlight in Yffiniac (Côtes-d’Armor).

It’s our local festival, an anticipated event that we hold dear. I wish everyone success and good times to the public.

Fun fair and dancing meal

See you Saturday November 16, 2024 for the first rides from 6:30 p.m. on Place de l’Europe with the Enchanteurs, tasting of chocards and a small aperitif offered by the artisans of the funfair which will operate on November 17, 17, 20, 23 and 24.

A dancing meal is organized this same Saturday from 7:30 p.m. in the village hall, hosted by Cécile and Dominique Moisan. Menu at €21: autumn soup, beef bourguignon, cheese salad, chocolate, coffee. Contact: Jean-Yves Martiin on 06 72 22 97 13.

Hikes and shows

Sunday November 17, 2024: mountain bike and hiking trail at 8:45 a.m., departure from Esplanade Mitterrand, four mountain bike circuits (11 to 50 km), a 70 km gravel circuit (GPS track) and two new walking circuits (10 and 14 km). Participation: €6 (including €0.50 donated to Langueux Muco). Refreshments on the circuits, chocard and snacks on arrival. Contact: 06 85 53 92 88.

In the afternoon, at 3 p.m., in the village hall: show by the Azad et Cie troupe“A dog’s weather”,: three women on the verge of a nervous breakdown and a waiter will make you die of laughter.

Round of flavors

Throughout the month of November, don’t hesitate to open the doors of your merchants and watch for the events. You will be able to taste the famous chocards in the bakeries La Grange a pains, Tartapain and Hyper U, as well as the pâté des chocards from the Vincent butcher shop. Without forgetting the famous mulled wine at L’Angélus.

Traines Savates and big garage sale

Les Traines Savates organize a hiking trip on Sunday, November 24 with a free start from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Triskell hall, at the sports complex. Registration (€5) on site from 8:30 a.m.: three signposted circuits of 8, 12 and 15 km with refreshments on the 12 and 15 km. Chocolate on arrival. Contact: 06 30 80 27 17.

The same day, the city center will host a large garage sale.
