Every year, the Bundesliga offers revelations that panic the goal counters. For this 2024/2025 season, it is Eintracht Frankfurt who hit the jackpot with their striker Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian has already scored 14 times and provided 10 assists in 16 matches in all competitions. A performance which did not go under the radar of FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick. Despite his big start to the season with 14 goals in 13 La Liga matches, Robert Lewandowski is no longer very young (36 years old), the Blaugrana are therefore looking for an understudy or even a successor. They see the Egyptian striker as the ideal profile.
Cheaper than Haaland and Gyökeres
Despite an improving financial situation, FC Barcelona remains limited in its transfer budget. Erling Haaland and Viktor Gyökeres, valued at 100 million euros, seem too expensive for the Catalans. The 25-year-old striker, less publicized, is a less expensive operation because Frankfurt could let him leave for 50 million euros. But be careful, discussions are underway between the German club and Liverpool for a transfer to the surrounding area according to information from Bild.
