Pablo Longoria began a year ago a reorganization of the sports sector at Olympique de Marseille, with the appointment in particular of Mehdi Benatia to the position of sports advisor.
The former player of AS Roma, Juventus and Bayern Munich has meanwhile achieved moves that no one would have thought possible, such as the arrival of Mason Greenwood or that of Adrien Rabiot.
The question arises today of his retention within the club, knowing that his contract expires in December 2024. Present on the airwaves of RMC Sport yesterday, the one who played as central defender during his football career insinuated that he would be willing to stay and work hard for the Olympians: “I work every day as if I were going to stay 10 years in Marseille”he began. “I want to help this club grow, ensure that we have great evenings”he continued. Then he finished, as a wink to his leaders: “To grow, this club needs stability”.
