On the sidelines of the Champions League match against Geneva, Lausanne announced the two-year contract extension of its striker Antti Suomela. The 30-year-old Finn has signed until 2027.

Arriving last season from Sweden and after an exceptional season, Suomela helped LHC reach the National League final. He had scored 41 points in 52 matches, then 11 in 18 play-offs.

This season, he is running at full speed with 19 points (6 goals) in 18 games.
