Basketball: A 4th defeat in a row for Washington and George in the NBA

Times are tough for Washington and its Valais player Kyshawn George (20 years old) in the NBA championship. During the night from Sunday to Monday, the Wizards actually recorded a fourth defeat in a row. After being defeated by the Miami Heat (98-118), the Golden State Warriors (112-125) and in Memphis by the Grizzlies (128-104), the team coached by Brian Keefe largely lost at the Kia Center of Orlando against the Magic (121-94).

If they had an illusion until halftime (61-56), the Wizards cracked in the third quarter won 30-16 by the Florida club, notably under the leadership of the German Franz Wagner ( 23 points) and his brother Moritz (16 points).

Kyshawn George continued his apprenticeship in the most competitive league in the world. With a playing time of 34 minutes, he was the second player most used by his technical staff behind the Frenchman Bilal Coulibaly (37).

During his time on the Magic floor, he was credited with 15 points, an assist and seven rebounds. He also returned a differential of -22.

In the Eastern Conference standings, Washington is in 12th place (out of 15 teams) with an intermediate record of two wins and six losses, far from the standards of the Cleveland Cavaliers, leaders with an immaculate record (11 outings, 11 wins).

The club from the American capital will try to end their negative streak on Tuesday from 2 a.m. (Swiss time) when they face the Rockets in Houston.
