The player has been the subject of discussion lately, his inconsistent performances compared to last season which could impact his market value.
The performance ofAndreas Forest Olsen in the Champions League against Aston Villa was rather disappointing. The Bruges player seems far from the player he was last season. An opinion also shared Franky Van der Elst.
“He is someone who arouses controversy, because we see that he has a lot of potential but he does not always express it. In addition, he sometimes seems disinterested and nonchalant. This is probably not not bad will, but it can be annoying for some”, mentioned the former international in Het Nieuwsblad.
I don’t see it extending any further
Skov Olsen’s numbers this season are not bad, far from it: he has scored five goals and provided two assists in 17 matches so far. Still, he’s not impressing like he did for much of last season. This is why the former Blauw & Zwart captain thinks the Club might want to try to sell him.
“I see that he is estimated at 18 million euros on Transfermarkt. I say to myself that if the Club gets 18 million for him, that would be a good thing. We have to hope that one or more clubs are ready to pay a such a sum, because he has to leave next summer as his contract expires in 2026 and I don’t see him extending it again in Bruges.”
Bruges will travel to Beerschot, the red lantern, tomorrow evening.
