R2. Auray – Plouhinec : 2-1
Auray won its sixth victory of the season in six matches against Plouhinec on Saturday evening. Amadou Sambe was one of the key men of the match. While the score was 1-1 and there were ten minutes left to play, the Alrean striker came off the bench and scored the winning goal on his first ball after a serve from Le Nédic (2-1, 81 ‘). Previously, Auray had scored first through Guillouzic, who headed in a cross from Aktas (1-0, 40′). But Plouhinec equalized on the hour mark through Hugo Le Belz, who beat Péréon after a quick transition (1-1, 61’).
“Overall it was a good R2 level match with two teams trying to play. We continue to take points. As long as it’s good for us, we have to take advantage of it,” said Romuald Le Maguer, Auray’s coach. His counterpart Sullivan Coppalle (Plouhinec) was disappointed. “We played a team with confidence and certainties. It’s frustrating because we’re not reactive enough about the goals we score,” he said.
BUTS. Auray: Guillouzic (40′) and Sambe (81′) ; Plouhinec : H. Le Belz (61′).
