Lions of the Atlas: Zakaria El Ouahdi in the sights of the Red Devils

Zakaria El Ouahdi, Genk defender, could change his sporting nationality to play for the Red Devils, whose coach is already making eyes at him.

“Zakaria El Ouahdi? We are examining the option, just like with Mile Svilar (a dual Serbian national, editor’s note). The official response always takes a little time,” said Domenico Tedesco, Belgium coach at a press conference.

Words which suggest the possibility of a change of sporting nationality for Zakaria El Ouahdi in the face of great competition in the Den with big calibers like Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui and other Adam Aznou.

What is certain is that Zakaria El Ouahdi must be patient and that national coach Walid Regragui must give confidence, in the near future, to a defender whose physical and technical qualities are indisputable.
