The City of Nevers et l’USON Nevers Rugby launch modernization work of thelighting from the field of honor to Pré Fleuri stadium. This investment marks a engagement fort in favor of performance and sustainable development.
By the end of November, the stadium will be equipped with latest generation LED lightingreplacing traditional lighting. This new installation will make it possible to achieve the standards imposed by the Ligue National Rugby, with lighting of 1800 lux, meeting the requirements of the high level in PRO D2 and Top 14.
Multiple benefits:
- Reduction of energy consumption : A saving of around 39% and 12 fewer projectors, for a reduced carbon footprint.
- Improvement of playing conditions and spectator comfort : LEDs provide even, better quality light, reducing glare.
- Respect for the environment : Less light pollution and a longer lifespan, reducing the need for replacement and therefore waste.
- Flexibility of use and lighting effects : The LEDs allow instant switching on and can be programmed for lighting scenarios, offering a new event dimension to the stadium.
Work schedule
THE worksstarted mid-October, will end at the end of November. Reception of the match against Dax Friday November 29 will be the opportunity to inaugurate this new lighting system.
