The (FIFA) unveiled the regulatory guide for the 2025 Club World Cupwhich will be held next summer at UNITED STATES.

The new competition will welcome 32 teams, including five Arab clubs: Al-Hilal SC , Al-Ahly SC l’Hope of Tunisthe Wydad of Casablanca et Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates.

Here are the main regulations for the 2025 Club World Cupaccording to the site Mark :

– Each club must field the best possible formation in each match to guarantee the highest level of competitiveness. Team formations will be monitored, as well as players’ playing time to ensure compliance with the rules.

– If a club withdraws from the competition more than 30 days before its start, it will be subject to a fine of $290,000. If withdrawn within 30 days or during the tournament, the fine will be $580,000.

– The competition format will include 8 groups of 4 teams each. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stages.

– Clubs must arrive at their camps in the United States between 3 and 5 days before their first match of the competition.

– Details regarding financial bonuses and rewards have not yet been announced; they will be communicated later.

– Each club must provide a list of 26 to 35 players, including at least 3 goalkeepers. For each match, the list of players will be limited to 26 (11 starters and 15 substitutes).

– The tournament will be divided into 8 groups of 4 teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages.

– The drawing and ranking methods will be specified later.

– No player will be able to participate in the competition with several teams. If a player’s contract ends during the tournament, the club can replace him with a maximum of two players.

– Knockout matches will be played in a single match on a neutral venue, with no home-and-away matches.

– A prize will be awarded to the best player of the tournament, as well as a trophy for fair play.

– In the event of a tie on points between two or more teams in the same group after the group stage, the following criteria will be applied: the greatest number of points obtained in the matches between the teams concerned, followed by the best difference in points goals between them.

– A special transfer window will be open from June 1 to 10, provided that the local championship of the participating club authorizes these transfers before the start of the tournament, set for June 15.

– The tournament will begin on June 15, with each team having 10 days to finalize their training for the competition.
