Moroccan international Adam Aznou, barely 18 years old, contributed to Bayern Munich’s 3-0 victory against Union Berlin on Saturday, writes the Spanish daily AS.
Born in Barcelona and trained at La Masia, the left-back is the new promising nugget of the Bavarian club, which now seems to have a spare part to compensate for a possible departure of Alphonso Davies, indicates the specialized newspaper, in an article entitled “Adam Aznou: ex-Barcelona nugget shines at Bayern”.
The qualities of Aznou, who left Barça in 2022 to continue his career in Germany, were praised by Bayern sporting director Max Eberl.
“We really like Adam, because he has immense talent,” he said, saying he was “happy” to see the young Moroccan international with “impressive potential” join the Bayern first team.
In Barça’s youth categories, Aznou played alongside Lamine Yamal, Hector Fort, Pau Prim and Marc Guiu.
Regarding his debut at the Bavarian club, Aznou said he was “proud” to join one of the best clubs in the world, expressing his determination to continue working to establish himself within his new club.
