In the room dedicated to Sambo, under the presidency of Christian Olivéros, this last Friday the belts ceremony took place.
After a series of demonstrations by the samboists, it’s time for the presentation of ranks and belts. Among those promoted we find in Jaguar 1st grade: Evan Fuentes, Julian Delrieu Dauzats, Mila Phedol; in puma 3rd grade: Owen Phedol, Evan Bedel, Romain Bonnefous; in lion 5th grade Paolo Jullia, Angel Roujean in yellow belt Esteban Caballero; in orange belt: Diego Bedel, Talina Mitoihi-Clerin, Inès Freitas Castro, Donna Rostaing Gal and Estelle Rostaing Gal; in green belt Orianne Rostaing Gal, Lou Martin and Géraldine Gal. It should also be noted that the club has in Thierry Théron an international Sambo referee who officiated this year in the Dominican Republic, Armenia, Serbia and recently was president of the referees’ jury at the Paris Grand Prix. In her speech Marie-Claude Nègre, mayor of Campsas, wanted to reassure all the members of the club. Indeed, the passage of the LGV line is planned on the location of the club premises by 2027. But, a solution is underway, and the elected officials are working on a project which will probably be the development of the current village hall in a room dedicated to sambo. Then, a friendly moment between elected officials, leaders, friends of sambo and samboists, closed this ceremony.
The club ends its season with a workforce of around seventy members. The composition of the office is as follows: Honorary presidents Marie-Claude Nègre, Jean Fasan and Jean-Claude Cerutti, President: Christian Oliveros, vice-president: Valérie Lamartinière; secretary: Françoise Assié; assistant secretary: Annick Poniard; treasurer: Anne-Marie Olivéros; deputy treasurer: Yann Braini.
