A 20-year-old young man was arrested Monday for a case of extreme road rage in which he deliberately drove into his victim’s car, before dousing her with cayenne pepper and beating her with a lava can. -ice, in the east of the metropolis.
This incredible story began late in the afternoon, near the intersection of rue Bombardier and boulevard Louis-H.-Lafontaine, along Highway 25 in the Anjou district.
According to our information, Jenovic Lutondo Lutondo was traveling at high speed with his car and came very close to colliding with another motorist.
Rather than continuing on his way, Lutondo Lutondo, furious, allegedly chased the motorist and even deliberately drove into his vehicle.
Panicked, the 21-year-old driver decided to stop in the parking lot of a gas station. Jenovic Lutondo Lutondo also stopped to physically attack his victim.
He allegedly beat him with his fists, sprayed him with cayenne pepper and hit him with a can of windshield washer fluid stolen near the gas pumps at the service station.
When the police arrived on the scene, they arrested Jenovic Lutondo Lutondo, who was still there.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Lutondo Lutondo was met by investigators and he appeared this Tuesday at the Montreal courthouse on charges of assault, assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000 and possession of a weapon. As the Crown has opposed any provisional release, he will remain detained until a judge decides on the matter.
The young man, only 20 years old, is still awaiting trial in two other separate cases, including one for armed robbery.
