Jordan Ayew is expected to captain the Black Stars for the final matches of the CAN 2025 qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
During the third and fourth day of qualifying matches against Sudan, Mohammed Kudus was named team captain by coach Otto Addo after Thomas Partey failed to show up for the rally.
However, Ghana were held to a draw at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg before suffering a 2-0 return defeat against Sudan in Libya.
Otto Addo came under heavy pressure for his decision to ignore Jordan and name the West Ham striker as team captain.
According to reports, the coach spoke with Jordan Ayew and ironed out all minor differences. He is now expected to lead the team for the last two matches.
Ghana will try to qualify for the 2025 tournament in Morocco. They will travel to Luanda to face Angola on November 15, before hosting Niger Republic three days later at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars currently sit third in Group F, with just two points from four games, behind Palancas Negras and Soudan.
