Tributes to the victims, supporters brought back by plane: Osasuna, in the name of Humanity

As the meeting was organized more than 1000 km from Osasuna, the visiting stands were not very full but a loyal 18-year-old supporter was there to support his favorite team. Affected by the trip, the club then worked hard to bring the young fan home by taking him with him on the return plane and avoiding a very long bus day the next day. “It couldn’t have been better”explained the supporter in a video posted on the club’s social networks where we see him greeting the players, receiving food and a selected Bryan Zaragoza jersey.

This weekend, the little reds were to return to the Spanish lawns in honor of their coach, Vicente Moreno, whose native village was heavily affected by the floods.“I want to send all the forces to my territory. All together, even if it seems difficult now, we will get through this”explained the main person concerned at a press conference. Osasuna also explained that he was going to collaborate in the reconstruction of the city so dear to his coach.

On the pitch, Moreno’s men did the job by winning 1-0 against Valladolid thanks to a goal from Ante Budimir who celebrated with a t-shirt marked with the inscription “Valencia Force”. “The goal celebration was discussed before the match; it is a gesture from the club and the team”he said in an interview after the meeting. Osasuna definitely showed a very positive face this weekend.
