Sunday, Genk hosts Antwerp as part of the 13th day of the championship. A match that promises to be a spectacle since it will pit the current leader of the championship against his runner-up.

Yor will be absent for a few weeks

A shock that Yira Sor will not dispute. Coming out with an injury last weekend against Ghent, the Nigerian striker had to withdraw from the cup match against Waasland-Beveren. According to Het Belang van Limburg, the match against Antwerp also comes too early for him.

“A scan revealed that he suffered no major damage to his abdominal muscles and adductors. However, Yor is so explosive that he needs to be in top shape for his body to hold up,” said Throrsten Fink. The German coach did not hesitate to compare Sor to a Ferrari whose bodywork does not match the engine.

Still according to Het Belang van Limburg, Sor will make his return after the international break. He should therefore make his return in a little over three weeks.

Sattlberger uncertain

Fink may also have to do without the services of Nikolas Sattlberger against Antwerp: “After the match in Ghent he complained of ankle pain. We have to see how things develop. If he is not fit to play, there are many solutions to replace it.

Konstantinos Karetsas suffers from a bruised thigh, but that should not prevent him from playing this Sunday.
