Farewell to Mati

The ceremony was very moving, especially when Matilde’s sister, Lucreziatook the microphone to say a final farewell to her “Mati”, before their parents, Adolfo and Elena, who recalled the safety project launched in Matilde’s memory, #Matildina4safety.

Very long applause greeted the coffin as it left the parish church of San Lorenzo for a final farewell to the young athlete who left far too early.
