Welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the fifth day of the main draw of the Roland-Garros tennis tournament. Following the postponement of many matches from the day before, the schedule of matches for the second round promises to be busy. From the first racquet hits of the day until the end of the night session, we will tell you here everything that will happen at Porte d’Auteuil and even more.

  • Today’s headliners

There will be many of them set on the clay court. In the men’s draw, we will find Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Holger Rune, Alexandre Zverev, but also Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina and Zheng Qinwen in the women’s draw. Also note the opposition between the Norwegian Casper Ruud, double finalist of the tournament, and the Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, clay court specialist.

There were 28 in total at the start in the main draws, there are only seven left at the dawn of this fifth day. Among the Tricolores still in the race, we find Alexandre Müller, whose match against the Italian Matteo Arnaldi began on Wednesday. Another Franco-Italian duel, very attractive on paper, that between Gaël Monfils and Lorenzo Musetti. Winner of a top 10 player in the first round, Varvara Gracheva will play against the American Bernarda Pera. We also don’t forget Corentin Moutet, Arthur Rinderknech, Diane Parry and Chloé Paquet.
