RC Orléans has found its new coach. Former top player Romain Cabannes has signed a contract for the next three seasons as general manager of the Orléans club which will play en National 2 season next.

A native of Mont-de-Marsan, aged 39, Romain Cabannes is the new coach of RC Orléans. Three-quarter favorite center, he played at Stade Montois, Biarritz, Pau but especially at Castres with whom he was crowned French champion in 2013 after a victory in the final against Toulon. The following season, he was vice-champion of France with the CO after this time a defeat again against the RCT.

Romain Cabannes competed 326 matches in Top 14, 35 in the European Cup. In June 2011, he took part in the French Barbarians’ tour to Argentina to play two matches against the Pumas. he finished his career as a player at CA Brive.
