Teams qualified for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Dominican Republic 2024™ now know when and where they will play their matches, following the publication of the tournament match schedule.

The competition will begin with the entry into the running of the host country, the Dominican Republic, at the Cibao University Stadium in Santiago de los Caballeros. Two matches will be played simultaneously throughout the group stage and will take place in both the capital, Santo Domingo, and the neighboring city of Santiago de los Caballeros.

Making their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup™ debut at home, the Dominican Republic will play their first two matches in Santiago de los Caballeros, on 16 October and 19 October, before traveling to the capital for their final match group stage on October 22.

The two host cities are separated by just over 150 kilometers.

The Cibao University Stadium in Santiago de los Caballeros will host 15 of the 32 matches, including the first semi-final on Wednesday October 30.

17 matches will be played at the Felix Sanchez Stadium in Santo Domingo, including the second semi-final on Thursday, October 31, as well as the third place match and the final, both scheduled for Sunday, November 3.

Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic (host country), Ecuador, England, Japan, DPR Korea, Republic of Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Spain and United States qualified for the tournament. The last three seeds will be awarded in June, with the qualifiers ending in Africa.

The composition of the groups and the schedule of matches will be determined in June, during the draw which will take place in the Dominican Republic.

This eighth FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in history will be the last to bring together 16 teams, the tournament will expand to 24 teams during the next edition of the event which will take place in Morocco in 2025.
