The Moroccan team attracts a new star

Algeria Football – In addition to Brahim Diaz, the Moroccan team also attracts a new star, with the aim of strengthening its ranks.

Indeed, the young prodigy of Club Bruges, Chemsdine Talbi, opts for Morocco!

Dreaming of wearing the colors of the Atlas Lions, the talented 19-year-old striker, Chemsdine Talbi, has started the process of changing his sporting nationality. After having evolved within the different age categories of the Belgian selection, “Les Diables Rouges”, the young footballer now aspires to represent Morocco on the international stage.

A carefully considered choice, driven by the ambition to participate in the next major events, in particular the 2025 African Cup of Nations organized by Morocco and the 2026 World Cup planned in North America.

Sources close to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), who preferred to remain anonymous, confirmed to “Al Arabi Al Jadid” Talbi’s commitment to the Moroccan sports project. The young prodigy therefore chose not to continue his adventure with the Belgian U19 national team, after having also worn the U15 and U17 jersey.

Convinced by the ambitious program of the FRMF, Talbi declined the requests of several European federations, demonstrating his determination to defend the colors of the country of his origins.

The administrative procedures underway with FIFA should soon result in the officialization of his change of affiliation. Talbi will then have the opportunity to play with the Moroccan U20 and U23 selections, before potentially joining the ranks of the A team led by Walid Regragui.

A choice reinforcement for the Atlas Lions, who emerge as a major asset for the next international events. The talent and motivation of Chemsdine Talbi are beyond doubt, and his integration into the Moroccan selection will not fail to bring a new dynamic to the team.

It should be noted that Chemsdine Talbi’s contract with the Belgian club Club Bruges will end on June 30, 2025. European clubs are preparing to sign him, due to his technical and physical qualities, while his current club is considering extending his contract. contract for several additional years.
