The rumor is gaining momentum, even being confirmed: Vincent Kompany could well leave Burnley… for Bayern Munich. An English media also sent the Belgian to the head of a major English club, but the rumor was denied.

Chelsea part ways with Mauricio Pochettino, and the list of names mentioned to succeed the Argentinian is long. Kieran McKennapromoted to the Premier League with Ipswich, would be one of the “serious” candidates, according to The Evening Standardand his name is cited by Fabrizio Romano among the avenues studied.

Sebastian Hoeness, the coach of Vfb Stuttgart (2nd in the Bundesliga), Enzo Maresca (promoted with Leicester City), Roberto De Zerbi (who leaves Brighton & Hove Albion) and Michel, coach of Girona (3rd in LaLiga) are others names mentioned.

But the Daily Mail adds another lead: that leading to Vincent Kompany, relegated with Burnley but whose rating has not really fallen. The media even claims that discussions have already taken place with the former Anderlecht coach.

Information denied by Fabrizio Romano, who assures: “There is no discussion with Kompany (targeted by Bayern), Thomas Tuchel, Hansi Flick or Antonio Conte”.
