Real Madrid CF announces that Toni Kroos has decided to end his career as a professional football player after Euro 2024.

Real Madrid would like to express its gratitude and affection to Toni Kroos, a player who is already part of the history of Real Madrid and who is one of the great legends of our club and world football.

Toni Kroos arrived at our club in 2014 and was a fundamental player in one of the most successful eras in Real Madrid’s 122-year history. In the ten seasons he has spent defending our jersey and crest, he has won 22 titles so far in 463 matches: four European Cups, five Club World Cups, four European Super Cups, four Leagues, a Copa del Rey and four Spanish Super Cups.

In addition to his titles won with Real Madrid, Toni Kroos was crowned world champion with the German selection during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

With Bayern Munich he won a European Cup, a Club World Cup, a European Super Cup, three Bundesligas, three German Cups and two German Super Cups.
