Words

Laurent Bourguès (My Pink Bonnet): “We had a crazy day. If I had had a pacemaker, it would have exploded! Passing the windward buoys with all the boats arriving at the same time at 25 knots, it was hot!”

Baptiste Hulin (Viabilis Océans): “Super intense! I had never done inshore regattas with 25 knots of wind. There were 2 or 3 contact situations from which we didn’t really know how to escape… But it was really excellent! We’re done! »

Aymeric Chappellier (Realites) : “We applied the Orelsan principle: simple. Basic. Minimize maneuvers, try to stay within the framework and get good starts. Everyone was in their position, there was good synergy and communication. Two or three times, the hulls of the others do not pass very far, or it is the coast which forces us to turn. You have to be on the map, anticipate contacts and prepare maneuvers well. We didn’t even have time to look at the meters…”
