A huge cleaning could take place at Olympique de Marseille this summer, after an extremely complicated season. Without the Champions League, President Pablo Longoria will have to reduce the workforce and especially the club’s payroll, even if certain players should probably not be worried.

The face of theOM expected to change this offseason. At the end of a catastrophic season, both on and off the field, the Marseille club will have to get a facelift and rebuild, in order to be able to relaunch next season. But with which players?

A hot summer at OM

With the summer transfer window approaching, the list of possible starters is only growing, notably Geoffrey Kondogbia and Jonathan Clauss. The first in fact has a salary that is far too high for the Marseille funds, while the second has fueled internal tensions in recent months and could well be pushed towards the exit.

Aubameyang, Balerdi and Meïté not worried?

There are, however, some special players who could well be kept. According to information from RMC Sportthis would be the case of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyangof Leonardo Balerdi as well as Bamo Meïté. Note that with regard to the attacker, he clearly explained that he wanted to stayOM next season to try to find the Champions League.
