This Pentecost weekend, five AMTF teams were on hand. The pennant team was playing a crucial match for its survival in the professional world. In a packed Maurice-Rigaud stadium, Alain Bénédet’s players could not do better than a 1-1 draw despite Julie Revelli opening the score at the start of the match. We will therefore have to wait until next weekend to find out whether or not they are maintained in D2F.

In Montauban, the reserve team had a date with history. If it won, it would validate a historic season with an 18th victory in as many championship matches. Facing a Tarn-et-Garonnaise team which could count on some reinforcements from the higher level, the players of David Conquet and Thibaud Balland did not disappoint. After a balanced first half, they broke the Montalbanian barrier and won 9-1. With 89 goals scored and only 12 conceded, they put an end to this exceptional season. See you next year in Regional 1!

Friday evening, Jonathan Lacourt’s men traveled to FC Sources, in Aveyron. A match without stakes where they still managed to win against a rough team. A 3-1 victory thanks to a double from Brandon Marianella and an achievement from Clément Ferdouel. Last match next Sunday against Cahors, at 3 p.m. on the main pitch of the Maurice-Rigaud stadium. The opportunity to finish in style.

In the territorial championship, the young Isatis also showed great things. The U17s won 9-0 against the Entente Brens-Gaillac. The U15s battled at Brens and managed a short 1-0 victory.

Sunday, Thibaud Balland’s U18F were in Saint-Orens, for an 8-a-side football tournament. Registered in the senior category, they were almost faultless with five victories for a single defeat, against the winner, Colomiers.
