Edon Zhegrova and Mohamed Bayo were the last LOSC residents on the bridge this Tuesday. They both tasted, once again, the taste of success.

This last day of international games was particularly positive for the Mastiffs, all emerging victorious from their respective opposition. In addition to Jonathan David, scorer, and Osame Sahraoui, who was making his first selection with Morocco, Edon Zhegrova and Mohamed Bayo also won.

The first to set foot on the pitch was none other than Kosovar, lined up from the start, and for the second time in a row, against Cyprus. Scorer during his team’s last outing, he did not have the same success this Tuesday, replaced twenty minutes from time (67′) by Sahiti who scored a few moments later (70′). In the meantime, Kosovo had already scored twice, through Amir Rrahmani (33′) and Krasniqi (52′). Sometimes worried, Muric made four saves in the cages, his men recorded a second consecutive victory (3-0), confirming their status as number 2 behind Romania in their group.

The ranking: Romania (1st, 12pts), Kosovo (2nd, 9pts), Cyprus (3rd, 3pts), Lithuania (4th, 0pts).

At the same time, on another continent, Mohamed Bayo’s Guinea was on a mission against Ethiopia, which it once again crushed (0-3) after the success pocketed three days previously (4-1). Author of a hat-trick during this first meeting, Serhou Guirassy did it again with a double scored this Tuesday (16′ and 23′), including a goal from the penalty spot. Between these two goals, symbol of the Ethiopian shipwreck in a handful of minutes, Abdoulaye Touré also shook the nets (19′). The Guineans were ultra-efficient, scoring on their three attempts on target in the first half, before disappearing afterwards. They just held on until the final whistle.

Substitute at kick-off, Mohamed Bayo entered on the hour mark (61′). The nature of the match, conditioned by the advantage acquired in the first period, did not allow him to express himself.

The ranking: DR Congo (1st, 12pts), Guinea (2nd, 7pts), Tanzania (3rd, 4pts), Ethiopia (4th, 1pt).
