Half of the teams competing for the quarter-finals of the Normandy Cup represent the Calvados district. There will be a maximum of three remaining, this Sunday, May 19, 2024, after the four confrontations scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

Honfleur, third in Regional 3, welcomes Troarn, second in Departmental 1. Jessy Chambey’s men will try to achieve a new performance after taking out FC Val de Saire in the previous round (1-0).

A big piece for Mondeville

Mondeville belongs to the same division as its opponent, Évreux, but is not in the same dynamic. The Ebroïcians, who had been administratively demoted, flew through Group D of Regional 2. They won fifteen of their twenty matches played. “We are nearing the end of the season, perhaps it is the time to try to achieve an exploit and go for a half,” laments Mondeville coach Matthieu Chevreau.

Unlike its opponent of the day, the USONM will leave for a second season of R2 at the start of the next school year. She will finish fifth in Pool B.

Final mid-June

The two other quarter-final matches of the Normandy Cup will pit La Selle-la-Forge (R2) against Lisieux (R2) and Grammont (D1) against Réalcamp (R2).

The semi-finals will take place on the weekend of June 1 and 2, 2024. The final will take place two weeks later, at the end of an interminable season.
