Doué-en-Anjou. The great humanitarian adventure of Raid Bulles

The Saumur Raid Bulles Team took part, from May 6 to 15, in the humanitarian adventure Raid Peugeot 205 Trophée Maroc.

This year, the Team was enriched with a third crew: the team bearing the number 306, with Mickaël Desvalon and François Vallant, joined the 307, made up of Jean-François Gabory and Fabrice Anger, and the 308, of Vincent Landais and Ludovic Anger.

The three duos left Doué-la-Fontaine on Friday May 3 and crossed Spain with a first night in beautiful Zaragoza.

Several Doué businesses made donations

For this second edition, we focused on humanitarian work. The usually great needs in this poor country worsened after last winter’s earthquake. Collections were organized in several companies in Doué. On the sporting side, the cars have been made more reliable and we have prepared a new car with a more assertive sporting character. confided Fabrice Anger.

Back in France after the humanitarian raid, Team Saumur Raid Bulles took stock of this great adventure: This was a new discovery of the Moroccan territory and its population with immense needs. The crews involved provided a large quantity of humanitarian aid, mainly for educational activities. specifies Fabrice Anger.

Before adding: The raid is also a sporting challenge putting a strain on vehicles as well as organisms, with a peak above 45 degrees during the bivouac at the sea of sand. .

An adventure that also allows you to build strong relationships with other participants thanks to ongoing mutual assistance. We never leave a stiff broken down alone on the side of the road.”
