Between two training sessions, professional football players fromAmiens SC went to the pediatric department of the hospital center ofAbbeville on Wednesday October 9, 2024.
The Amiens goalkeeper Regis Gurtner accompanied by his teammates Alexis Sauvage, Matthieu Rongier and Sébastien Corchia knocked on the doors of hospitalized children’s rooms. As the Amiens club reports on its website, “they met young patients hospitalized for various ailments. Far from the stadium spotlights, our players shared moments of happiness and comfort with these children and their families, thus bringing a breath of fresh air into their sometimes difficult daily lives. »
Welcomed by Claire Bézot, senior manager of the women-children division, the players had the opportunity to understand the challenges that medical teams and children face every day.
A very nice break for these children going through a complicated time thanks to the generosity of the people of Amiens touched by these young patients.
