The final of the Coupe de France between PSG and Olympique Lyonnais scheduled for May 25 is eagerly awaited by Lyon supporters. The match will take place in Lille on Saturday May 25 at 9 p.m. For the occasion, OL is organizing a free giant fan zone with a giant screen at Groupama Stadium.

The ticket office, open this Tuesday, May 14, was stormed and fans were disappointed to encounter numerous bugs.

To bring together supporters who are unable to attend the finals of the Olympique Lyonnais teams in Lille (OL/PSG) and Bilbao (FC Barcelona/OL women), the Groupama Stadium will open its doors on Saturday May 25 from 5:30 p.m. for a special evening .

Hour-long queue, serial bugs and down site

And the least we can say is that the ticket office to reserve your place was saturated from the first minutes this Tuesday at 10 a.m. As with concerts by mega-stars like Coldplay, OL has set up a virtual queue system to wait before being able to access the reservation system.

This morning, the waiting time was between “more than an hour” and 45 minutesaccording to our findings.

But fans had to deal with serial bugs in addition to time to wait. “I had the places in my basket and I got a 504 error,” assures one of them on X (ex-Twitter). Another faced a 404 error that “removed him from the queue.” Others simply cannot access the OL website.

After a long wait, we got our tickets

Some were still able to get their ticket, without any apparent bug, according to testimonies on social networks.

We tested by staying at the end of the queue (around 1 hour of waiting) and we were able to reserve our places, without a bug.

Reservations required

“This event will be free and open to all, upon presentation of a free entry ticket previously reserved on the Club’s online ticket office,” explains OL, who want to avoid seeing a crowd without a ticket arrive on Saturday May 25.

Only four entries per reservation can be ordered. Three sectors in the Groupama Stadium have been set up: West stands, East stands and lawn. “It will be imperative to make a choice between one of these areas when you make your reservation. On the day of the event, traffic between areas will not be possible. The reserved tickets will not be numbered, so no seats can be reserved,” explains Olympique Lyonnais.
