Loaned to Lierse, Viktor Boone convinced there. He leaves Union Saint-Gilloise permanently.

Victor Boone (26 years old) leaves Union Saint-Gilloise permanently for Lierse-Kempenzonen, where he was on loan this season. The USG announced his departure through its official channels. Boone reached the end of his contract on June 30 at Union, and therefore joined Lierse for free.

Boone joined Union Saint-Gilloise from Deinze in July 2022. Last season, he barely played for USG, only playing a half against KV Mechelen in the league, and a match against Cappellen in the Cup.

This season, the central defender was therefore loaned to Lierse-Kempenzonen in September. He quickly established himself there, missing only one match due to suspension and even wearing the captain’s armband during the last championship match, against Zulte Waregem.

After his 27 matches including 25 (and 3 goals) in the Challenger Pro League, Boone will therefore stay with the Pallieters for good.
