Following the fire which destroyed the changing rooms of the Champ-Daillant stadium on Sunday April 30, 2023, the City allowed the site to quickly become accessible again for training.

The Moulins-Yzeure Football, Yzeure-Auvergne Women’s Football, Etoile Moulins-Yzeure clubs, the Eamya athletes, also the city’s schools, as well as the François-Villon, Emile-Guillaumin and Jean-Monnet high school were thus able to use the stadium, but only for training and not for competitions.

The district and the football league cannot, in application of federal field regulations, grant an exemption for the organization of matches due to the absence of changing rooms.

Since mid-April, following the adjustments made, meetings can once again take place on the Champ-Daillant site. Temporary changing rooms have been installed and lighting installed. With the earthworks, the installation of concrete pads, the electrical connections and the drinking water and sanitation networks, the cost of this first phase of work amounts to €160,000 including tax.

Total cost: €600,000

Construction of the new changing rooms is expected to begin during the second half of the year, with work expected to be completed by the end of August 2025.

The total cost of the work is estimated at €600,000, the entire cost of reconstruction will be covered by the City’s insurance, but the City has been notified of a very significant increase in its contribution.
