MHSC: a former pailladin announces his retirement and joins the sports management of a club in Russia

Damien Le Tallec, who passed through the MHSC between 2018 and 2021, announced on his social networks that he was ending his career. The now ex midfielder will not leave the world of football since he will join the sports management of Zenit Saint-Petersburg.

One last stint at Hanoi FC, in the Vietnamese championship and Damien Le Tallec called it quits. At 34, Anthony’s younger brother announced that he was hanging up his boots after a 17-year professional career and eleven different clubs in seven countries.

Passed by Montpellier for three seasons between 2018 and 2021, playing 97 matches for 5 goals scored, he left the club of president Laurent Nicollin, free, to join AEK Athens.

A new mission

At Zenit Saint-Petersburg, Le Tallec, married to Kristina, his Russian wife, for almost five years, holds dual French-Russian nationality and will be responsible for developing the club’s links and establishments in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Orient, the five-time defending champion club announced earlier in the week.

“Proud to now be part of this emblematic club”, posted the former midfielder on his Instagram account.
