Bad news for Real Madrid, qualified for the final of the Champions League, and the French football team with a view to Euro 2024. The Spanish club indicated this Thursday afternoon that its midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni is suffering from a stress fracture in his left foot after examinations carried out today, without specifying the duration of his unavailability. According to our information, the former Bordeaux player is injured in the metatarsal and will be absent for a period of between three and four weeks.

If this unavailability is confirmed, Tchouaméni would miss the Champions League final at Wembley (London) on June 1. A presence on the bench has not been ruled out to date, but it remains very uncertain. His presence in the extended list (which can go up to 26 players) called up for Euro 2024 is also a question. Didier Deschamps and his staff, who will announce the lucky ones on May 16, could still integrate him and monitor the evolution of his injury over the weeks.

Aurélien Tchouaméni had already been absent this season, from the beginning of November to mid-December, for a similar stress fracture, in the same foot. Wednesday evening, he played more than an hour before being taken out by Carlo Ancelotti.
