Georges Laraque reveals his Top-6 in attack with the absence of Patrik Laine

Earlier this week, the management of the Montreal Canadiens told us that the star forward Patrick Laine suffered from a knee sprain and will have to be absent from competition for a minimum period of 2 to 3 months.

Injured in the knee during the preparatory game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the worst was expected for Laine who, according to Kent Hughes himself, came very close to having to undergo surgery and thus miss the entire season.

Although this is good news in the circumstances, the fact remains that Martin St. Louis will still have the difficult task of having to find a way to replace him in the lineup, he who just came to fill a glaring need for the Canadian.

The host Georges Laraque of BPM Sports proposed what his Top-6 in attack would be if he were head coach of the Canadiens.

Top-6 – Georges Laraque

Armia – Suzuki – Caufield
Slafkovsky – Dach – Newhook

As we can see, he would not hesitate to break up the team’s first line, made up of Juraj Slafkovsky, Nick Suzuki et Cole Caufieldto have two balanced and balanced trios.

He would thus reform the duo of Juraj Slafkovsky et Kirby Dach who seemed to have instant chemistry last year before Dach injured his knee and had to miss the entire season.

Martin St. Louis should he break up the team’s first line even if it’s doing well in order to have two more balanced lines?

See the post at the bottom.
